VS responds to ‘Violence at work’ report
31 March 2016
Independent charity Victim Support responds to ‘Violence at work: Findings from the 2014/15 Crime Survey for England and Wales’.
Mark Castle, Chief Executive for the independent charity Victim Support, said:
“The workplace should be a safe space where no-one has to fear violence. Employee safety must be a priority, with employers taking steps to minimise the risk of violence at work – particularly in those professions where employees have been shown to be most at risk.
“Anyone who is a victim of violence can contact Victim Support for free, confidential help and support, regardless of whether or not they have reported the crime to their employer or the police.”
