We’re pleased to announce that Victim Support has been certified to ISO27001.

This standard outlines how to securely handle and store information. To achieve this, we reviewed all our internal policies and procedures to confirm that they meet the requirements set out in the standard.  We then invited The British Standards Institution (one of the most respected global standards bodies), to perform an audit to confirm we meet all the requirements and certify us to ISO27001.

This certification underpins Victim Support’s dedication and commitment to information security and follows other standards such as our Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

We’ll continue our work to look at ways we can improve and protect information security within the organisation.
