What we do

Our services offer structured, personalised support that’s carefully tailored to meet your unique needs, recognising that each person’s journey is different. We’re committed to providing the flexibility and care necessary to ensure you receive support that feels right for you. Whether you prefer in-person meetings, phone support, online sessions, or group sessions, we offer a variety of options to ensure you’re comfortable every step of the way.

We’re based in Bournemouth, but our supporters travel countywide to provide help to anyone affected by crime across the whole of Dorset.

As an independent organisation, we support anyone affected by crime, regardless of whether it has been reported to the police and whenever the crime may have happened.

What we offer

  • A compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental approach from our team who will listen and validate your experience.
  • Help from trained supporters to help you process and navigate the complex emotions following a crime.
  • Information about the criminal justice system and referrals to other specialist organisations to ensure you get the right support for your needs.
  • Tools and resources to help you build resilience and feel better equipped to move forward from your experience.

Digital support

  • Webinars: covering topics such as wellbeing, self-care and information such as your victims’ rights.
  • Silvercloud: a safe and secure guided self-help platform, based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles and techniques.

Group support

Led by a trained facilitator, group support offers a safe, understanding environment. Victims of crime can connect with others, share experiences, and receive validation and practical assistance on their journey to healing.

One-to-one support

Provided by trained team members, one-to-one support provides personalised, confidential guidance to victims of crime. It helps them navigate their unique challenges through structured and tailored support, designed to help them cope and move forward from their experiences.

Children and young people

Our services include dedicated support for children and young people (CYP) aged four and above, delivered by one of our compassionate and trained CYP supporters. We understand the unique challenges that children and young people face when dealing with difficult experiences. Our supporters are committed to offering a safe environment where they can express themselves, receive guidance, and begin to heal. We’re here to help them navigate their emotions and empower them to move forward with confidence and resilience.
